With any website that begins with free membership, there is always that initial email from the one who seems to lose interest in you after you’ve paid the subscription fee. This site, I received a hundred emails on the first day, I knew something wasn’t right. Just looking at the site, it is set up to appeal to male subscribers so any review stating this site is mostly composed of female subscribes is just advertising. The rule of numbers with any dating site is there will always be more men than woman. You don’t have to look at this site for more than 2 seconds to see the theme is geared towards men, not to attract female subscriber. Before reading into the reviews on this page, look at gender. All of the positives reviews here are written by female? Don’t give these people your money, just save up and go to Philippines

I had been on this site for quite a long time until i decided to close my account because i found my fiancee here. There are really so many scammers here but again you have to know the person very well before sending $$$ to them.i met my fiancee here and started as good friends and he decided to meet me here in the phil and NEVER had i asked anything from him as a matter of fact i paid for my own trip when we had vacation together and i advice filipina women if they are really serious looking for a foreign husband NEVER EVER TALK ABOUT MONEYđand by the way he will be moving here with us so i dont really want to live in the US with himâșso i am so thankful that i found the love of my life here. He is only 3 years older than me and now we already have one beautiful baby girlâșbeautiful love stories can be made possible in this siteâș
Terrible customer service – I am a paid member and keep getting terminated for no reason and nobody answers why my account was terminated. I have sent numerous emails to their customer service and get no answers. I will discontinue my paid account and I advise everyone to not pay for membership with their awful customer service.
i really would like to make a purchase on this site, I really would. the problem is the credit cards that cant get to cancel, after many who have had horror stories of signing up and afterwards, having difficulty in cancelling the membership and get charged again.
I wonder if a Gift card /credit card will work?
They just terminated my account without any reason. A message will tell you to contact their team if you believe that you got the message as an error, but their team’s no help at all. Just sad coz I didn’t even violate any rules.
Having been a member for 6 months and using the site on a daily basis, I can honestly tell you this site is flooded with scammers.. Here is the problem for members, Filipino Cupid knows very well that attractive women leads to higher memberships, the scammers know this all too well and use it to their advantage, they use photos of very attractive woman from other web sites to lure men into conversations that lead to money, they are quite easy to spot, most will give you a hardship story, I had one tell me she was raising money for her church and promised the pastor she would donate $367 that she didn’t have, and all those poor children were going to suffer because she didn’t have it, a poor Filipina making a promise to donate a years salary? these people have no imagination which is good for us.. Another one said it was her Birthday, but her astrological sign was 8 months apart.. Bottom line is, the site does not do enough to filter these scammers out, I must have reported well over 50 Women and they DO remove them, but they sign right back up, the site does NOT filter the users IP address.
Not all are scammers, I found that the not so good looking ones are quite real.
As soon as I signed up I turned off the automatic renewal. I later checked to verify that it was in fact turned off because I was leaving the Philippines and had no reason to continue my subscription. After arriving home I checked my credit card statement and discovered that they signed me up for another month.
I sent an e-mail and told them what happened. They replied back that they could not verify what I told them. I asked them to remove my credit card information from their system and they refused to reply back to my request.
My advice is to not get mixed up with this site.
FC terminate my account for no reason?
Interesting as married a Filipina long ago when we had to write letters. After 25 years or marriage now looking again and have had 5 months on FC site. Wow there are so many scammers it is fun at first but then you get tired of the BS they put out. The people who run it don’t always remove the scammers you report. They are the best looking girls that are the draw for new members to get them to pay so are reluctant to remove them it seems. New guys to Philippines please use extreme caution as they are very slick and even with my vast experience with Filipinas and Asia I got scammed by one with the “I have a job offer” and need help to get the paper work done to be rehired as worked there before. Never ask direct for money but the Mr. nice guy American wanting to save the world says sure I can help you and sent $60.00. Then contact slowed to a stop until contacted on site and said in hospital and just got out again no direct ask for help. Didn’t bite this time so still haven’t heard any more from her even though internet cafe is only 20P per hour. I have brought bad luck to so many Filipina on FC as after a few days of chat one got hit by car and needed money to get out of hospital sure and many other sad stories. Several transsexuals and one showing an old Visa to USA and saying was flight attendant getting free ticket to USA but needs fees to come visit me. Said $350 for departure tax but web shows max $55 and I was airline pilot so ask some questions only those in the biz would know and sure enough had no or wrong answers. So good though she looked up the retirement age for pilots I had ask her. Took her two days to find the right answer but was sure a hard worker as a scammer. I told her she worked so hard at the BS I should just give her the money for all the effort but didn’t. Been to Asia many times starting in 1970 and even I got scammed on FC for pocket change so you beginners or light weights better be very careful on FC as there are some real pros playing hard ball so be warned. Remember FC isn’t your friend or wing-man.
Nowadays dating is so easy but scammers are getting smarter each day.Not only Filipinas but other nationalities too.My advice is be careful,take half step at a time.There are plenty of genuine ladies looking for serious relationship.But sadly some are just there for money,heartless who just want to take advantage of you!I remembered a Filipina who’s seemed to be genuine but she just used someone to carry her load.Petitioned her,her son and support her financially.But sadly she’s one of the heartless Filipina,who doesn’t care about dignity.I am a Filipina and I feel sad hearing stories from FC that they had been ripped off by their Fiancees.And worst is most foreigner’s at FC treat us all like scammers!!!For me FC is a good place for everybody but we need to stay on guard,if you’re interested in meeting a nice Filipina?Visit her in the Philippines,hire a detective agency before petitioning her.And don’t be a fool!don’t send her money like as if there’s no tomorrow.I believe that there are plenty of excellent Filipinas in the Philippines.Keep looking,be careful,don’t send money,don’t be in hurry,take time knowing each other and don’t forget to do the background check.After meeting her in the Philippines and you think she’s the one for you?Congrats!!!
FC made my life perfect!I met few thorns along the way but eventually found my one great love.I’m not perfect or a super model but I found someone who helped turned my dreams into reality.I am not rich but I believe that not all Filipina’s are scammers or looking for financial stability.I love him for what he is not for what he have.Just keep searching and be honest..Good luck!

I would totally recommend FilipinoCupid, I’ve been there. Of course, Scammers are everywhere now that it’s easy to join in any part of the net. Just be cautious and vigilant in spotting the weeds from the flowers. đ Not all of us Gold Diggers, try to go to the basics if your not sure, the educational background, the family, her characteristics and her professional attainment. It’s like making sure she can live even without asking money from you. Just be wise Friends!
Maybe pretty, nice and sincere girls are rare. But come.on guys there are still and they are for real. As many have already said the younger pinays tend to be aggressive in seeking money or other assistance from you almost immediately. The sheer variety of stories is amazing. And of course there are always scammers playing on your emotions and probably doing it with several naĂŻve men at the same time. Then they go back to their boyfriends or husbands with some extra cash and you get your ego stroked for a little while. It is a game and you have to know the rules and play better. Not all are out to scam you but many are. As some have said, look for one or two pictures, sexy poses, young model like faces, and limited profiles. On the older women expect many to have one or more children already. You can set your quick review to include the things you want to watch for and then decide if you want to get involved. But the biggest red flag is a sob story almost right away coupled with how much they “love” you and you are the “only one” they are talking to.Yeah right. The best advice is probably to go there and look away from the big cities. The pinays are very beautiful in many ways and worth the effort IMO. Just think with the right head.

I met scammers too on Filipino Cupid and I never gave up until I met this guy . He visited me last Christmas Eve and until now we are dating and planning to be together soon . I found love … I am happy that I signed up on this website .

I am an experienced date site user and i joined fc and both me and an amazing and beautiful woman are new to the site. We met each other on there (not in person yet)and I can;t believe the connection. she is either legit or the best scammer on the planet. after spotting scammers by the hundreds it seems i am now so suspicious. I pinged her IP, i searched her name, I searched her photos in google. I can;t find anything wrong except she is an amazing and exceptional beautiful woman. The ip came back where she said she was, swears she;s a real person (???). She has an amazing and genuine smile when we chat! I can’t find anything wrong except me being skeptical. Again I think i could spot a scammer in my sleep. She is either the best scammer on the planet or we have really hit it off with each other. Again both of us are all smiles, happy, and can;t get enough of each other on fc cam/chat. Of course she wants me to bring her to the states (totally understandable) over six thousand people have died due to typhoon recently. The only problem is me. yes she has four seemingly professional pics of herself on there and she;s amazing, better looking on the cam just being herself though without the makeup and model type dress. It seems if i lose this one, i;m an idiot. catholic girl with a cross necklace in every pic. I have the money to bring her to the states thats not the problem i just don;t want to be a statistic that people call “moron”… there is over three thousand girls on there at any givin time and the meeting of her ahd i just seems an impossible chance. you are probably right. im marrid to a philippino half my age & i have been to the country 5 times. im 49 year old irish man & she is a 23 year old super model. we have a great marriage & we are happily married in galway.they are schammers in every country but in general the philippinos are great. go for it.
Only one wat to find out…you have to go meet her in person first before you try and decide anything. You have to meet the family..the friends…if you can meet almost all her relatives and immidiete family member and friends, most likely you hit the jackpot. But if she doesnt bring you to her home and would only meet her family in a restaurants or mall..think twice. But hopefully you found your soul mate.

Just go to the Philippines & meet people. Unless you have some sort of superpower, you have no way of knowing if these women are for real or not. And like most sites, this one had an abundance of scammers which gives the good Filipinas a bad rep.
If you’re a foreigner and is seriously looking for a partner, this may be a good place to start but I suggest you go visit the country before committing to anything that way you can meet the family, see the living conditions and verify if your online chemistry will translate in person.
There is lots of scammers on anything associated with the internet. This site is no different. Just don’t think and 18 year old filipino girl is really interested in a 40 yo male from Australia for love. Be realistic. Only reply to girls with more than one picture and look “real” not posed model shots. I have met a wonderful filipino woman and we have been together for nearly 2 years. She is smart and very hard working.There is lazy people in all countries. Just be realistic and don’t think you can find a model to show off to your mates.

That being said, there are some real females who are pretty and nice, but they are rare. My account was terminated on me by scammers so I would not report them, I'm still trying to get any response from there customer support 2 days later.
I would not recommend this site, but I would recommend going to the Philippines, there are many beautiful females there who are quite serious about relationships.
Too many scammers. The first few days many of the girls will direct you to other sites. Then the scammers come out, with many girls asking for money within a day or two of “meeting” you online. I’ve been on for a few months, and I am still not sure I have met a single legitimate person.

This is probably the best dating site I used that doesnât have many spammers. A lot of the girls I chat with are nice and real girls that likes to chat and meet up. I only had 2 where it turned out it was spammers or fake girls trying to redirect me to their webcam site. This is a great place to meet local girls when I am on tour. Totally recommend it for other fellas out there.
Listen i have been on the fc a couple of times, my first so call girlfriend was using pics of fillipino actress Cassandra ponti.Hell how would i know, we chat for 8 months using yahoo messagener.She would tell me they have webcam ban because of cybersex.Finally i get fed up and dump her.She confess and use webcam and dam she’s nice looking.So be careful, if they have one pic and one line profile its a scammer.Plus go back to their profile within 3 hours it will be switch off.

I love this site, if you cant find a gf or wife here then you are not seriously looking. You can tell if it is a scam girl by the profile pictures. If the profile only has one or two pictures beware. Also, If the pictures are to “professional” looking then more than likely she is a scam or cam girl.

Go this site only if you are looking for scammers cheats and fakes. Cant believe the going on in there AFTER I paid for the subscription. You report on the fakes which sign up for free and guess what? They fakes and cheats report back on you. Chances are you will get banned. All the pretty ones? Contact them with caution.
I’ve been on FC for a couple of years now and, although there are scammers and fake profiles and dodgy little camgirls, there are plenty of genuine, honest young ladies on the site. I’ve also been to the Philippines many times and I know the living conditions are very hard there for ordinary people, which is one of the reasons many ordinary girl from the site will hope to get some financial help from western men. Some are scammers sure, but many are just simple girls looking for support in their lives. And if you ever visited them there, you would see why! So, use the site yes, get to know and be friends with some girls, yes, but if you really want to have a Filipina gf or wife, just go there. You don’t have to look around too long, they will find you. And yes, much of it has to do with them finding stability in their lives, but that doesn’t mean they don’t love you. They will love you for that alone! One word of warning though, many Filipinas think that because you want to marry, live with or take responsibility for her, you should also take financial responsibility for her family. That is THE one thing I totally reject in Filipino culture. I’m from the west, all men here take responsibility for their OWN families. If we can help, fine, if not, that’s life! Anyway, if you marry her, just tell HER to go out and work for her family. Simple! Finally, you won’t regret a trip to Phils. The people really are charming (there’s a lot of crime because of the poverty of course) but in the main they are hospitable and loving…and the ladies really are beautiful! Unfortunately, the site is mostly scammers/spammers, proably in the neighborhood of 75-80%. So chances of find any type of LTR is slim to none. If you are just looking for fun chat, then that can be easily found. The fakes and scammers will entertain you and stroke your ego. So for just fun, then it can be a good place. But if you are looking for a serious style relationship, its more like trying to find a needle in a haystack. You would have to weed through hundreds..and maybe a thousand to find anything worth while. best bet for finding a LTR, just make the trip to the Philippines and take your choice.
This is one of the dating sites that I used to go to all the time. I met plenty of Filipino girls on here and it was fun. Now that I found a different one to go to, I rarely visit this place anymore. So I canceled my subscription with no regrets. I think that catholicmatch is a better place for me right now. They have better girls and are religious like I am. So I can no longer recommend Filipino cupid.

Being a member of this Filipino cupid is probably the best decision I have made. I met my husband here and now I live in the states with him. I donât understand the bad comments about this place. I would still be living in the Philippines if it werenât for my husband bringing me over. For me, this was the reason why I have a wonderful husband and a wonderful family.

Been on here for almost a month and I donât think I ever chatted with a real female thatâs there for dating purposes. The young attractive girls are usually webcam strippers that tries to get you to go to their site and watch their live webcam. This place really needs some cleaning up if they want it to be successful. I regret paying for membership.
FC is the only online dating I have ever been to. But it was really a good time. I had scammers contacting me and I reported them and that profile disappeared within hours. I think that fake accounts canât be helped but with a good staff that is vigilant, the online dating community can be improved. I donât know how other dating sites police their place but it is hard to imagine it being better than FC.

I went to Flipino cupid for love. What i eneded up with was a horror story1 The woman that i met stayed steady with me for half a year and then she had a massive stroke and heart attack.Her mother moved into the house to take care of her and her little girl.I ended up with a big hospitol bill.Over $25,000 dollars later ,I am on the verge of losing everything I own and I am too broke to meet her in the Philipines.Now she is on her death bed starving and her mother is very ill from breathing problems.I’m about to loose her because I cannot financially hol on any more ,and instead of love ,I have only guilt ,and heartache.

I agree with Paul. I am a long time member of Filipino cupid and you do need to be smart about being victims to scamming girls. They offer a safety dating instructions on the site so read that if you are new to online dating.
Well anyways, this place is a nice dating site to kill some time talking to some attractive and young Filipino girls. Some of the pictures on here are amazing. I still havenât had the opportunity to visit the Philippines yet but when I do, I will definitely get in contact with some of the girls I am talking to frequently.
I love filipinocupid, theres a lot of sincere Filipinas on here. Of course, there are the hustlers and cam girls that tries to ruin the experience for you. But once you know how to identified the real ladies from the ones that just tries to get money out of you, you will enjoy it a lot more. Usually the private profiles are the most likely to be legitimate. Hope that helps.
