The point is, I would so recommend this site just be careful with whom you’re talking to!
This website worked for me im french Canadien and i’m now married with an awesome Indonesian woman of my age. Basicly we met online, Skyped for 7months and thrn i visited her in Indonesia.

I am an American who lived in the Orient when young and then later worked in a job where I got to return to the Orient and have lived in China, Thailand, Japan and the Philippines as well as have travelled to Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei.

I would like to say that the recent internet phenomenon of dating sites is not new. It was done in a letter format through many businesses that varied in reputation as well as reliability and accuracy of service. Companies like Cherry Blossims and Orchid Dating although still around have been largely replaced by many others including new ones from Europe that tout the romantic and reliable traits of Russian, Ukrainian or European women.
The sad truth is that these businesses are only interested in doing whatever they must to separate your money from you and play on your loneliness and will lie or make any type of false promise to you so long as you believe and they have no scruples about taking you for whatever you are ignorant enough to give them.
It is said in love that no human thinks with their head, only with their heart. And these businesses which are also sometimes connected to Asian crime rings care less about your needs and only care about taking your last dime.
Anyone so desperate as to want to take a partner from a foreign nation should think twice. There are so many stories of woe I could tell but space does not permit.
Let me just say that IF you are serious about a relationship with an Asian woman the thing to do is first learn the language then travel to the nation that interests you the most. Try to meet women there ‘IN PERSON’ and go from there. Another way to meet women from Asia is to become friends with a couple where the man’s wife is from there and ask her advice and help to meet someone. Networking is the number one most reliable way to meet women who will be real and willing to meet with you and not defraud you since they are known by their friend in the states.
In my travels I have seen so many scams of different types and both Asiadate AND Asiandating are both in that category at different levels. And any time you have to pay fees or are ‘managed’ that should warn you that something is NOT right. Also even though Asian women now study English many do not speak it well much less write it well and even in translation what they say often does not read smooth so anytime you get perfectly worded letters that should warn you that they come from scripts provided in advance and may not reflect what the woman actually thinks.
I have a recent friend who took MY advice and learned Chinese (I helped teach him some words) and than went there and met a woman who was referred to him from a woman living in the U.S. I even helped him find an investigator that for a small fee checked her out and verified she was o.k. and legitimate. He applied for visa for her to come visit and spend two months with him. They hit it off and are now happily married. She told him the same thing I am telling all of you in this message. Many poor women in these countries sign up to be advertised as willing dates and often they cannot speak or write English and many times their real pictures are substituted for some model.
So you can continue to be trusting and throw away your money or you can be proactive and learn language, network and take your destiny in your own hands to ensure success and happiness.
Dating is no more different than planning for business or war. You have to have a plan, do your research and intelligence and avoid problems. It is like researching for a major purchase. You would not trust in luck or rely on the word of some salesman without checking out things, so why would think a overseas relationship would not require the same caution and research and planning.

Wow, man, thank you James! I REALLY appreciate the information you’ve given us poor saps that might be pondering using these sites. I created a profile on Asiandating.Com, but haven’t yet paid. I’ve had tons of responses, which of course would make me believe I was some amazing stud of a man, if I didn’t know better. Many who sent me messages didn’t even show up as even having viewed my profile, which I thought rather suspicious. The ones that seem legitimate, based on what you’ve written here, actually had shown up as having viewed it.
I’ve been tempted several times to pay for a month to try it out and to be able to communicate with two that I am interested in, but my gut feeling keeps holding me back. I supposed that it wouldn’t hurt to try a month, but after reading your review I realize that it makes much more sense to try your approach instead. Besides, I really don’t have the time or money to visit another country to bring back “the woman of my dreams” right now. Life is complicated enough without adding all that into the mix! That’s what loneliness and sadness from the recent break up of a long-term relationship will do to you. Things you might normally NOT do!
I’m very glad the larger of my two heads had common sense enough to do a little research effort taking the plunge! Guys do yourself a favor and follow James’s advice and find a girl closer to home that you have more in common with culturally and that can more easily be vetted.

HELP PLEASE
my father is 59 years old, talking to this 36-year-old woman from asiandating. They skype about once a week, in fact I just “met” her on skype when I went into the living room to grab some water. She seems cool and like a real person, though she barely speaks any English and there needs to be an interpreter, I didn’t see the interpreter.
I don’t know how much my dad is spending on this site, but he’s already planning on going to China in December and he’s talking about how much he loves this woman and how good their life will be and blah blah blah. I TOLD him to be careful and make sure it is not a scam and he is convinced that she isn’t a scam, because he told her all about his financial difficulties and she knows he’s not loaded.
ANYWAY I don’t know what to do because I have a horrible feeling about this but I also want to be positive and my dad to be happy. This whole dynamic goes against everything I believe in on every level, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t people who subscribe to this mindset….

Yes a lot of scam profiles. The pretty ladies guiding you to other pay sites, or requesting money for paying their internet connection, etc etc. One stunning girl guided me to a site called gagamatch. which is a big scam. None of the girls are real. Another girl sent me pictures from herself, but i noticed they did not match. I recieved pictures from 3 different girls, haha.
But there are genuine profiles though. Just skip the profiles that send you very standard email messages, or with girls too pretty to be true, report abuse when possible, and be very careful. There are ladies on the website, that are looking for a real partner, without scam. No doubt.
Summarizing, the website itself is not a scam, but quite a percentage of the profiles are fake.

THIS SITE IS A TOTAL AND UTTER SCAM.
After joining this site and checking out some profiles I started to write to a woman called Mingzhi from her profile she was a very attractive woman for her age of 55. However after exchanging 70 plus letters I decided to fly over and meet her in China.
In her letters she told me that her English was Ok, so there was no language barrier. However please don’t be fooled by these fake profiles and photos. When we finally met I could not believe it, she was nothing like her profile photos, she looked like the grandmother of the one in the photos with short thinning hair and couldn’t speak a word of English either. Then this scamming site took $70 off me as well.
Please learn by my mistake, this site is out to empty your bank account and you will get nothing in return.
Everyone: I think in the comments many people are confusing two separate websites. Asiandate advertisers extensively on facebook and is a transparent fraud. That is the one where you have to pay for each message, video, and all the girls are improbably attractive.
Asiandating appears to be more credible, because among other things the women have a wide range of appearances. And as far as I know you just pay a monthly fee. I cannot vouch for Asiandating but can say at least that it is very different from Asiandate (which again no one should ever try to use).
The women seem to be there to encourage you to spend money to read letters, to write letters, to see pictures, to see videos. You think you find someone spend a lot of money but in the end you have no more information about her tun you did on the first day. She trees to see you but then her father won’t give his blessing so we can’t be together.
My suggestion is to go to goldenbrides.net the cost are less and the women will talk about themselves.
The site is good, joined 2 years ago for the first time after 1month or so of filtering Scammers, yes there are scammers. If you get contact by someone that looks too good for you well then she is. Harsh facts, so dont think you are that good just because they are from a 3. world country or so. Anyway if you are realistic you will find nice people on this site, people that will commit. But you really need to be realistic…
Definitely do not use asiandate.com Yes they have pictures of gorgeous looking girls (models in studios and lots of air brushing too!!) but what an absolute scam they run. pay to read generic letters…pay to reply …..pay to read her reply and so on and so on. No doubt its ugly old woman writing to you anyway….or men!! And after many letters back and forward, there is still no chance to send her your personal email in order to have free contact….they block out all contact info supposedly for “safety”. yeh right. AsianDating. com is the biggest scam on the planet. I have found out through three years of trying to meet a lady. That asiandate not only pays a large percentage of the women here to chat and write letters. I would say that about 98.5% of the women here are interested only in the money that they are paid and have no real interest in a man. I have also found out that all of the women are under contract to asiandate. They are not permitted to have any contact outside the site. Even through the phone calls. The interpreter makes it as hard as possible for one to obtain personal information from each other. They also take an inordinate amount of time to do this. So they can run up the bill. I have went to China twice to meet a lady that I was interested. Both times, after meeting with the lady for 2 or 3 days. All they wanted was for me to give them money and, or buy them expensive gifts. Which is supposed to be forbidden. But after telling the site and recommending that the ladies be removed. The site stated that they had no control over this. I have wasted three years and a very large sum of money to try and find a decent lady here. I was told about this site from someone else. Who had a good experience at first. But, later has had the same experience as me.
I would say that if you want to spend a huge amount of money to play games or talk dirty with someone. Then this site is for you. If you are a serious about finding a quality lady to spend the rest of your life with. Avoid this site.

Myself and a friend from the US are both on the same dating site he’s been contacting this lady and sent me these pictures because he had already spent and which looks like wasted money on credits initially contacting this woman over a long period. How many other people have these pictures that she said were “only for you nobody else will have them”. We can never know the scale in which she has sent these out! She managed to get him off buying credits by sending him clever photos (see below email address) where she can now on Skype proposition for all sorts of things and do even more on webcam to entice men over to meet her where she will quote: find him a nice hotel near to where she lives. This has all the signs of the latest scams by prostitutes that are becoming more and more and the name of this lady appears to fit a previous article in here by ‘Edward’ which geed me up to post this. You can find her on Orientladies.com looking fresh and innocent as the day she was born. With all the usual quotes in her profile; seriously looking for husband don’t want to play games and will always speak the truth. You just cannot know what you are dealing with they come across so sincere. You take a big gamble on these sites and even more if you travel out to see them. If you are willing to arrange meetings off the site you run the risk that only you and her may know you were meeting. This could place an individual in a very precarious position thousands of miles from home and in a probably Chinese only speaking environment.
This is my experience with collaboration of a US mans experience and with a Chinese interpreter telling how the latest individual but subtle scams are working.
Asian prostitute dating scams are becoming even more subtle by the individual perpetrators. These prostitutes (referred later to as scammers) are signing onto the best of the Asian dating sites and letting their friends in the local agencies run their accounts. Imagine this, these people are at pc’s all day long, how many messages using your credits on pointless replies can they get through with a small enticing message to you and many others of which you will want to reply and these go out in there 1000’s to many people around the world. Some of these scammers are beautiful on pictures which have been brushed but when you see them on web cam looking familiar but somehow not the same you should start asking yourself questions! Yes you are now getting a look at them, so much more convincing to make the scam work. Here we are talking about scammers and a one a day man can be very rewarding not just in life style but in cash flow terms and also staying in 5* hotels which can easily last up to 7 days but they usually only want you to stay short term because the next client may be waiting. Or they will know when the cash cow is drying up and all of a sudden they have to go the family has another problem. “Can I come with you and help”? I ask. No dear please I have not told the family about you yet. So out of 7 days I saw her for 3.You may just even meet someone who will do almost anything (except love you) to get US ID and to get their child into USA before reaching age of 21 so that they can go to university at your expense. Especially those of us who, are at the vulnerable age 55 to 70 where a few enticing words can make you forget all reasonable and logical thought.
Any way back to the scam the people given access to these accounts and usually to all the scammers personal photographs and details are in such a position to manage these accounts at their place of work. These places being usually linked to several dating sites through their office of employment which normally exists to churning out credit paid replies for the owners of the actual website and the office owners. So they are in a position to contact the individual scammer to maybe arrange a web cam meeting time so as to be seen and confirm the identity of the scammer and can speak a little English, or if just to chat by text, scammers not required they, can control that (no face to face contact) you can be chatting with a fellow!
Once the scammers have you in the net and you are dribbling from the mouth because of the content, suggestive words saucy photo’s etc of some of the replies you have been receiving, you keep buying more and more credits then they will hint at you sending a present and gifts all the time generating gains for them. The next move is to get you over to meet them. They will be so kind as to offer to book your hotel near to where they say they live, for me it was the Kempinski Hotel in Chengdu China. Maybe they also have contact with some employees of these hotels where they might receive bargains, gifts, discounts etc this being part of being able to live the life style. They will agree to meet you at the airport and pick you up.
My experience was that I arrived only to be met by someone and an interpreter (of which I had to pay for) I did not know and to be told that Zuping had had a family emergency and can be with me in 2 to3 days time. I was not to worry as they had many girls I could meet and could spend time with. Obviously these people who met me were from an agency and no doubt running Zupings account. No disrespect to these other people I could meet but I think maybe they were the genuine desperate few the agency had on the books but who had a lot of baggage, ie. young children and could not speak any English and in my opinion had very little chance of meeting their man of their dreams!! I am not against children just too old to manage one so I looked for speaking some English, no children, or older but left home.
My source told me that this is normal and that the lady I was suppose to meet was probably making a lot of money out of the client she was with but when it dried up she would come running! I must at this point say my source was not the interpreter I first met this one came later with the girl I am now with and was chosen by her. This interpreter was involved with these agencies but left and is now independent and could not stand the deceit and laughter that used to take place in these agencies about Quote; “these stupid old western men” Unquote: I asked well surely this is the mans fault at which she agreed, and replied, “how does an older man refuse a beautiful much younger woman who is promising all sorts of suggestive treats, and to marry you, the libido effect on this man of possibly having this woman on their arm and as your wife removes all traces of rational thinking. It is not always the scammers asking you directly for cash for an emergency or for some other reason it is more subtle, which the scammer will determine after sizing you up during the initial conversation face to face. It is like a long term investment they can get you coming back to the country for more and more so its like continued business. Also when you are there they will take you on shopping sprees to the most expensive places where you are literally embarrassed into buying anything they want” I can confirm that!. There I replied, “these scammers are certainly going to have a full wardrobe”, not the case she replied, “most of them have a deal with the shop that they will then return the goods and probably get 50% or more back in cash”. So the shop owner still owns the article has made money so as the scammer!! On a regular basis this can generate a lot of cash. If she can manage to get 1 expensive article a day this is good money for them and they have a good life style in hotels all meals bought everyday! You will return to your country probably in the belief that you will be getting married they are so convincing while you are with them and because she has given you her email address, her phone number, home address so that she can be removed from the site and you do not have to buy credits anymore. But she will not disappear from the site!! No she will stay on site and the people who manage this account have names of clients she has seen and will be promoting her for other clients so if you try to contact her through the site you will probably get no replies and her telling you in the emails or on the phone that her account is not active. All the time they are keeping you sweet over the phone or by emails ‘You are convinced’ and by this time you may be sending her money to help her out with her expenses while all the paper work is being done this can go on for months and months and at which point when completed she will probably tell you as was in my case that she cannot marry you because of her family disagreements about your age! At this point she changed her phone number or blocked my calls also the same on the emails it was as quick as that. They are ruthless and have no feelings whatsoever. You cannot rely on the personal information about their home address either (I checked it out) or probably counterfeit ID they seem to have everything covered.
You do not even get any comfort out of being able just to talk to them or get a reply from email.
The site owners are happy this woman is still selling credits they will do nothing, the office are getting praised the site scammers managers are getting their share, the scammers have a good life style and making money everybody remains happy except you!!
Beware this is becoming very common and I have since being regularly in Chengdu came across an American who suffered a similar experience except that she did meet him at the airport took him to a 5* hotel played the traditional Chinese woman card but slept with him after 2 days to make sure he was hooked, gave him all her details when he left so he did not have to go on the site. But he spent an absolute fortune in a few days and continued to spend when he was back home by sending her money. Went back again to Chengdu to meet her again and build the relationship. Similar spending spree took place same 5* hotel etc. Only to be told in the end, when back home, after questioning her where the money was going, that she could not marry him. Promptly changed her phone number or blocked it and emails!
Moral of this info: If they are so beautiful and you are in this age group and they want you so much and they are missing you only after sending a few messages and they want you come visit them. IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS
I’m sorry this has happened to you. I’m sure it could happen to most people searching for companionship. Your review is bitter sweet… Not because I’ve been scammed but because I’ve discovered the man I thought I was in love with is being scammed by this site. Doesn’t make it easier knowing he will suffer and will loose all his money to this site.
I am very suspicious of this site. I get letters and notices that are the same message. Few actually address me by name and many 20-somethings tell me they love what I have written in my profile even though I have stated that my search criteria has a minimum age of 40.
Can someone tell me that you have actually been successful in meeting a lady thought this site? More specifically, the one that you have been corresponding with. I have already read reports of a bait and switch tactic when a foreigner visited the lady’s country and she was not there, but there was other ladies waiting to meet him.
I joined this site, and found 2 ladies I wanted to get to know after many fake and misleading notes. I didn’t put up the money for credits at first, but I finally bought some credits. Immediately, I got flooded with hundreds of women with near naked photos in the free portion of their letters. I can’t get them to stop, and when I mentioned it to one of the ladies I was writing to, they now will not allow me to purchase any more credits, so I can’t even talk to the 2 ladies anymore. Also, just buying credits doesn’t get you any contact with the ladies you write, it just marries you to the site, because they will not allow you to exchange any contact information with your lady until you purchase 100 credits for a phone hook up through the site. I suspect this is just a scam also to get you to pay for the 100 credits, and then they will cut you off when you try to exchange info with the ladies, because the conversation is monitored by one of their staff. Steer clear. Scam of the highest level.
Many fake profiles, girls sending out standard letters about your great profile and pictures. Many tries getting you on Skype. Then they will get you naked on cam, and black mail you.
Some real profiles, but all the scammers and gold diggers made me paranoid. I disabled my profile after a few weeks, even though I have paid for a 3 months premium plan.
I have been in AsianDating.com Aka AsianBeauties.com close to 2 years and i did buy $35 of credits. I did get the credits and nothing happen to my bank account at all. I made 2 profiles 1 with my photo and the other one without, Believe it or not I did noticed something and even if you do not have a profile photo the Letters they send you keep’s saying that i am ” Handsome ” this is not correct. The other thing that i noticed is the same sentences on other Letter’s. If the a lady ask for your personal email, The translator won’t give it to her. Overall this website might be FAKE. You will find from time to time that AsianDating staff themselves send bogus interest and follow up emails from very attractive women that simply don’t exist.
The Australians who run this company should have better integrity.

I’d have to say AsianDating is one of the best dating websites for anyone who wants to connect with asians, but there are also quite a few other ethnic groups that also use the website.
Overall, the layout is neat, the way they have the profile matching system is nice, and the fact that they work hard to clean out fake or abusive profiles is pretty nice. I think the only problem I really have with it is that I often get random women that don’t visit my profile favoriting/interesting me, when they’re well over 10 years older than me and don’t even have a profile picture. Other than that, great website and I have already been making arrangements to meet someone within the next few months.
I just recently divorced my wife of 12 years and I wanted to use this dating site as a method to get over her. But it just wasn’t possible. This place just outright rock. It is so much better than those other dating sites that I use to visit. At asiandating, they fight really hard to get rid of fake profiles, dead profiles and the scammers. Knowing that, I feel at ease to chat up some of the ladies here without much worry.

Although the site looks kind of old school, I felt really good after joining asiandating. It’s a nice change from the usual white ladies that I usually date. The girls here are all cute and pretty. They are exactly my type that I want to date. Only problem that I have is that some of the asian ladies are too far and I am not willing to engage in a long distance relationship, so too bad.

If you live in a somewhat remote area like I do, or you don’t want to experience long distance relationship than I suggest you move on and find something better. I think I might move on as well. Long distance relationship isn’t my cup of tea ever.
I joined this site because there was just not enough asian girls at the other place I was a member of. So far, I have to tip my hat to them. They definitely deliver on the whole asian dating and asian ladies part. They even crack down on the fake profiles a lot, which I like. This is a good site, no doubt.
This is a great dating site to meet cool asian women. I made many friends here and I didn’t even have to pay for membership. I have a paid membership now to use more of the features, but I was still successful without it.
Here I met and learned so many different Asian cultures from Chinese, Thai, Laos, Vietnamese, Korean and Japanese. I like this site that specializes in connecting to a specific culture. It’s just a great idea to me.
Currently, I am living with a Japanese women that I met on asiandating. She is currently pregnant with my child and we are planning on having a wedding soon. I hope some of my friends on here can come to my wedding!
